In addition to Konjic, four more locations have found themselves on the list of nominees for the prestigious “Green Destinations Top 100 Stories” award for the year 2023.
After the Dutch organization Green Destinations held a conference in Tallinn, Estonia in October of last year, which included destinations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, a link was published through which you can vote for your favorite.
Thus, the Bosnian cities of Trebinje and Bosanska Krupa found themselves on the list for the prestigious environmental award, along with two other locations: the Skakavac Nature Monument and the protected habitat Tišina, located near Šamac.
You can vote for the best “green” destination through the provided link, where you can choose one of the offered destinations.
Green Destinations aims to promote stories that highlight innovative and effective initiatives and projects of destinations working towards sustainable development on a global level.
As a reminder, the awards will be presented on stage during the Green Destinations Story Awards ceremony at the annual ITB conference in Berlin in March of this year.
