The OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina condemns the attack on journalist and editor of the Times.ba portal, Mirza Dervišević, in the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which occurred on January 12 of this year.
The Mission commends the swift reaction of the authorities in the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina in identifying and apprehending the suspected perpetrator and expects further appropriate prosecution of this incident.
The Mission emphasizes that all media professionals must be guaranteed a safe working environment, where all fundamental rights and freedoms are fully respected and protected, as stated by the OSCE Mission.
